DJ SEDUCE 
Label head, DJ, promoter, producer, friend, family man, cool dude, call him what you want, but our man, DJ SEDUCE really put in work this year! Wow! right out the gate, DJ Seduce released (March 2011) the critically acclaimed Brazil:Sambossica 3 that was in demand the minute we posted the first songs! The hit single O Pescador was a hip Samba groove that got you moving the minute it played! DJ Seduce really looked for artist that bring Sambossica to life for each disc, and this time around, without fail, was a beautiful mix. From samba, bossa, electronica, funk, soul, jazz, and just great music all the way around! 

Not just Sambossica 3! but wow, DJ Seduce was personally invited to DJ at the 5th Annual Brazil Film Festival in Toronto, Canada! The festival organizer as well various magazines, tv and radio were all on hand to support the festival and to interview our man Seduce. Not only did he DJ, but DJ Seduce asked to compile a new CD titled the New Brazilian Beat! a 11 song Cd that introduces the Now sound of Bahia and beyond! The CD which is hand numbered and only available as a limited edition is available in the Shop now! Toronto was like a home away from home by what we heard in the office! Lots of Love and Many Many Many Thanks to the Katia Adler, Christian, Eric, from the festival and all the fine folks who help support Afro:Baile! 

What a year it was! DJ Seduce also graced the Cover of the Music Section in the Phoenix Newtimes, was nominated for Best Latin DJ by the Phoenix Newtimes, was nominated Best Event DJ by AZ Foothills Magazine and as the organizer of the Brazilian Day event, which was also Nominated Best Music Festival! WOW!!! DJ Seduce also opened for Grammy award winners from Mexico, MOLOTOV!!! What an amazing Band and time that was!! But see for your self, don't let us ruin all the good news!

Our first CD release of the year came from DJ Seduce, as compiled the 3rd installment of the Brazil:Sambossica series! The CD featuring 12 songs was released in March 2011 with high praise from around the world! Radio stations instantly took to playing it, while raves reviews from magazines in the UK, USA, and Brazil took notice! Introducing 11 new artists and 12 new songs is no easy task, but compiling a record like this for the people is a must! SÃO PAULO - A carioca Micheline Cardoso teve o privilégio de construir sua identidade musical participando de turnês de grandes compositores brasileiros, como Tim Maia, Geraldo Azevedo e Zé Ramalho.

Micheline contou em entrevista aoEstadão.com.br que começou como crooner, cantando clássicos do samba com orquestras cariocas, mas logo sentiu a necessidade de extravasar sua criatividade em canções originais.

Micheline dá preferência à internet para propagar seu trabalho, e é favorável à revolução digital que agitou a indústria da música nos últimos dez anos.

Foi através de sua página no MySpace, quando o site ainda representava o maior cartão de visitas de artistas em todo o mundo, que despertou a atenção de produtores e DJs estrangeiros.

Algumas versões e remixes de suas músicas agradaram aos ouvidos europeus, e foram determinantes no processo que culminou na divulgação de seu trabalho na América do Norte e em países como Itália, Alemanha e Áustria, onde viria a se apresentar ao vivo em diversas ocasiões.

Os shows também contaram com boa receptividade no Velho Mundo, e Micheline já programa um retorno em julho de próximo ano, época em que florescem os grandes festivais e shows abertos.

Confiante em seu talento como compositora, a cantora vem modificando a base do repertório ao vivo, apresentando cada vez mais canções autorais, a maioria delas baseada em um samba "moderno" e atualizado. De volta ao Brasil, se apresenta em São Paulo pela primeira vez no ano no dia 15 de dezembro.
